Itinerary

DAY 1: DENPASAR – ENDE – MONI (D)

Arrive at H. Hasan Aroeboesman Airport of Ende, our English speaking tour guide will meet and welcome you with your name on signboard then visit Museum Bung Karno to learn about Soekarno’s exile period. Head to Wologai Village to explore traditional Lio houses and cultural life. Continue to Moni. Arrive in Moni, check in at Kelimutu Ecolodge. Dinner and stay overnight at Kelimutu Ecolodge.

DAY 2: MONI – KELIMUTU – ENDE – BAJAWA (B/L/D)

Early morning at 04:00am drive up to Mt. Kelimutu for about an hour drive. Upon arrival at the parking lot, trekking through over than 200 stairs up to the top at monument to see its picturesque three color lakes and the beautiful sunrise over the lakes. Back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, drive to Ende to visit Blue Stone Beach to enjoy the unique blue pebble shoreline. Lunch at local Restaurant at Blue Stone Beach. Continue to Bajawa visit Malanage Hot Springs, natural hot springs offering a soothing experience amidst a scenic rural setting. Dinner and stay overnight at Edelweis Hotel in Bajawa.

DAY 3: BAJAWA – BELARAGI VILLAGE (B/L/D)

After breakfast at Hotel, visit Bena Village is the most famous and also most visited village in the Ngada district. With its impressive stone formations and ancestral shrines, as well as traditional houses, Bena has turned into a signpost for Ngada culture. Then continue to Paukate village, from here, start trekking for 1 hour to Belaragi village – An isolated traditional village surrounded by lush nature, offering insight into local life and customs. Dinner and overnight in the village (really simple accommodation).

DAY 4: BELARAGI VILLAGE – RUTENG (B/L/D)    

After breakfast, trekking down to Paukate village, continue by car to visit “Arak” distillation and palm wine fresh used tapp near Aimere. Lunch at local Restaurant in Borong. On the way to Ruteng, you can visit Ranamese lake – a serene lake surrounded by dense forest, ideal for a peaceful nature walk. Arrive in Ruteng, visit Ruteng Puu – A traditional village with circular houses and stone shrines of the Manggarai people. Dinner at local Restaurant and stay overnight at Sky Flores Hotel in Ruteng.

DAY 5: RUTENG – TODO VILLAGE (B/L/D)

After breakfast, visit Liang Bua Cave – An archaeological site where the remains of Homo floresiensis, also known as the “hobbit,” were discovered. Head to Lingko – An agricultural heritage – Terraced rice fields shaped like giant spider webs, a unique agricultural landscape of Manggarai. Lunch at local Restaurant in Cancar. Continue to Todo Village – Known for its conical traditional houses and rich Manggarai culture. Dinner and stay overnight at simple accommodation in Todo Village.

DAY 6: TODO VILLAGE – DINTOR – WAE REBO VILLAGE (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive up to Dintor – is a small village nestled at the foot of the mountains, surrounded by terraced rice fields and lush hills. The village offers a peaceful rural atmosphere with stunning natural scenery, making it an ideal stopover for travelers. Dintor is also known for the warm hospitality of its locals and its preserved traditional way of life. Lunch in Dintor. After lunch continue to Denge for star point of trekking to Wae Rebo. Trekking; distance around 3-4 hours, here the atmosphere of being in the forest is real while sometimes the song of asian paradise flycatcher could be heard. Proceed then to reach post 2 at pocoroko a vantage point for picturesque views toward savu seain the south. It is the last place for cellular phone connection services available. The next stop will be at nampebakok – a place where you will have a complete view over the traditional village of waerebo. Arrive at waerebo – welcome ceremony – free time at the village. In the village to comprehend the local way of life and it is surrounding. Dinner and stay overnight at a traditional house to share the experience of being in a local home.

DAY 7: WAE REBO VILLAGE – LABUAN BAJO (B/L)

Spend your morning in the village to experience the morning life of the peasants. After that having breakfast at a local house then trek the same way back but this time you walk downhill until reaching a point where the car is waiting to bring you back to Labuan Bajo. Lunch in Dintor. On the way to Labuan Bajo, you will stop on the rice terraces in Lembor – Home to vast rice paddies, offering a glimpse of the local farming lifestyle. Continue to Labuan Bajo. Arrive in Labuan Bajo transfer to Komodo Airport for your flight back to the next destination. End of service.
